I just plugged my iPhone into my new mac (previously it was managed using itunes on a PC) I just want to delete some songs that are on the iPhone. It seems I can't press delete on the songs in iTunes when the phone is connected. When I select Manually manage my songs and videos it prompts "the iphone is synced with another itunes library.

However when I tried clicking it, there's a popup saying that I can only do so after erasing all data on the phone: How do I "manually manage" the phone without it erasing off its data?. Now, if I select manage music and videos manually and hit apply, it will ask to "delete all the contents of my iphone". If I went ahead and deleted all the contents of my iphone as the prompt told me to, what exactly would happen? all my apps, app settings, music, videos, voice notes, voicemails, text messages, note pad notes would all be gone?.
